Out Youth’s annual Second Chance Prom is a night to relive or create prom memories in support of LGBTQIA+ Youth.
Join us at 800 Congress Avenue for a 21+ night of dancing, drinks, and appetizers, and drag queen performances.
This year’s prom theme is The 80’s, so bring your best voluminous hair, shoulder padded outfit, and flashy jewelry. 80’s glam encouraged, not required.
Last year’s Out Youth Second Chance Reigning Prom Queen, Alysha Pretty, will be attendance as we usher in a new prom court of drag queens and kings.
General Admission tickets include an open bar, bites by Crave Catering, and unlimited access to the photo booth.
Proceeds from the event support Out Youth’s mission of serving LGBTQIA+ youth and their families, offering free clinical counseling services, a safe drop-in center, and sexual health education and testing. The event directly supports our annual Youth Prom, where LGBTQIA+ teens from all over Central Texas can enjoy a safe and inviting prom night on Saturday, April 13 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School (Austin, TX).
Can’t make it to the Adult Prom and want to give the gift of Youth Prom to an LGBTQIA+ youth? Visit our event website and ‘Send a Youth to Prom’ to provide them with the safe and empowering prom experience everyone should have.
