All Aboard: A Big Queer Boat Party!

Get on board, we’re back for year two of the big queer boat party! And this year, we got a bigger boat, aka MORE queer babes, more raffle prizes, more dancing, more more more! All benefiting Waterloo Counseling Center this year!

Here’s what you need to know:

-A ticket gets you food, drinks of all kinds and the best day of your entire summer!

-Your ticket cost covers food and drinks all day plus the cost of the boat. After that, the proceeds go directly to an LGBT centric non-profit, cause the only thing better than a big queer boat party is a big queer boat party that also helps queers!

-This year’s non-profit is Waterloo Counseling Center. Waterloo is an incredible org that offers high quality, low cost counseling to the LGBTQ community; people living with HIV/AIDS and their loved ones; and people experiencing trauma, depression or anxiety.

– On top of what we donate from the ticket sales, businesses around Austin donate some seriously legit prizes that we raffle off. Raffle proceeds go 100% to the non-profit! You get 2 raffle tickets with your boat party ticket- more on that later!

-We got a really great boat this year with a slide, sound system, grill, floaties and 2 levels of pure queer party possibility- we promise you’re gonna love it!

-The rules are simple: BE COOL. Don’t bring people who can’t/won’t be cool. EVERY BODY IS WELCOME. BRING EM ALL. If you can’t accept/appreciate a wide variety of (likely) scantily clad body types, body features, gender presentations, body hair patterns and overall queerness, this probably isn’t the party for you (also we should probably talk about why…)

-Don’t drink and drive- if you’re a sober driver you’ll get some extra raffle tickets as a thank you! Your safety is really important to us and the folks who run the boat!

-Due to popular demand (seriously you babes asked us all year) we’re getting a bus! Check on the eventbrite page for more details but basically, we have space for 60 people and tickets are sold separate for that. It’s a good deal I promise!
